Reintroducing… representment
I designed the content and task workflow for a single, web-based representment platform that brought together all the info that a specialist would need to work multiple represented transactions efficiently and respond to the payment network in a streamlined manner.
What was the problem?
Specialists at a large financial firm had to use, on average, 8 to 10 different legacy applications to gather evidence and respond to merchant represented transactions.
What we needed to solve
Too many apps
Specialists had to juggle 8–10 different applications to complete a single represented transaction. Customer info, transaction info, merchant documents—all scattered on different websites or in different applications.
Time-out, time-out
Not only did our specialists have to juggle multiple applications, but they also had to log back into these applications if they left them alone too long. Some would log them out after only 2 minutes.
One transaction at a time
The primary application they had to use only let them work one transaction at a time. Sometimes a customer would have reported multiple transactions; they’d all come back, and the specialist would have to work them one by one.
